Marine Mammal Researcher & Conservationist
NOAA Permit 26285
I’m Alanna Frayne, a marine researcher and conservationist investigating anthropogenic impacts on marine mammals in the Pacific and Arctic Oceans. My work focuses on vessel activities and trends around large cetaceans and other marine mammals, as well as broader ecosystem implications of maritime operations. As both a marine scientist and maritime captain, my goal is to support research and policy-making for strong, science-informed management measures.
